My vacations started, and for me, is a week of fine dinning, hiking and historic sites. I started the weekend going to a restaurant that I wanted to go long time ago. After a walk in my second visit at Peddler's Village I finally went to Earl's New American.
First thing I look in a restaurant is the decoration (Honestly, fan of Ranch style décor) and at my first step inside the restaurant I felt satisfy with the environment, and the way the place looked. Not small, spotless, well illuminated (I am sorry but I don't like that kind of places where I can't even read the menu) and sophisticated decoration.
The restaurant seemed pretty busy, I thought the service would take a little of time but by my surprise, it was fast enough. I liked the fact that the waiter had ready a jar of water to serve on my glass before asking if I wanted some water.
After a while, looking at the menu I decided for the specialty of the day, crab soup. It came with a cracker that I immediately dipped in the soup. I have to say that the soup was really good, the only thing that I can complain about is, the portion was too small. I had to order an extra French fries for my stomach. I am gonna write a letter to all restaurants, if you have French fries in the menu; Please! give us cheese fries as an option. Some of us prefer cheese than ketchup in the fries. For my taste, them fries were not my fries, nothing personal I am used to be very picky with my fries, I do not like anyone's fries.
Concluding with my review, do I recommend the restaurant? Yes. Would I visit again the restaurant? Yes. Honestly I would love to comeback and try the BBQ pulled pork. So, hasta luego Earl´s New American!
